French-Smith Wedding - April 29, 2011 - Seacrest Beach, Fl - Wedding Planners

Ashley and Greg are "that" couple. The kind of couple other couples hope to be.

For their wedding in Seacrest Beach, Florida, the couple traveled from Tennessee to spend an entire week with their closest friends and family before marrying on April 29. And celebrating was this group's top priority!

The ceremony took place on the beach near their reception site, the ReUnion House, located on 30A between Rosemary and Alys Beach. Jessica Miller of Make Me Blush was on site early to fix the Bride's hair and apply her makeup. Once again, she produced a naturally beautiful composition able to withstand the many laughs, smiles, hugs, winds and tears that Ashley's hair and face would endure throughout her day. Michelle Castle of Michelle Castle Photography was next on the scene to capture every beautiful moment of the day. Her photographs prove to be a true testament to the overall joy this event produced.

From the beginning of the ceremony until the end of the reception, all eyes were on Ashley and Greg. Everyone ate, drank, danced, sang, and honored the couple the entire night. Rich of Pascalli Foods put together an exceptional menu, devoured by the guests. In fact, the only time the guests weren't talking about how wonderful the wedding was going, they were talking about how fantastic the food was! Kim of Kim's Cakes baked a most beautiful white, two-layer cake decorated with orchids, and designed the Groom's cake with the "T" of Tennessee, arranging white chocolate covered "T" strawberries around the edges.

Mickey and David of Whispers Productions acted as Masters of Ceremony and pumped up the jams. The party was requesting their favorite "old" high school jams, and as usual, Mickey and David were able and happy to deliver! At the end of the night, this vivacious group of guests cranked up their homemade portable jam-box (also known as "the cooler full o' jams") and kept the party going late into the night.

The couple was a delight to work with and their entire event was full of love and positive vibes. We wish you a lifetime of these feelings, Ashley and Greg!

Zena and Brandon designed a vitage wedding with all the perfect details. Zena used vases, quilts and other family heirlooms to add that classic and personal touch to her event.
The ceremony took place under a 200 year old tree at Eden Gardens in Point Washington, Florida. In honor of Earth Day, the couple planted a tree together, symbolizing the life and love that will grow from the mixture of each other's soil.
Zena looked llike a dream in her long flowing gown and flower halo. Each of her bridesmaids wore a different vintage dress, and each groomsman wore eithar a seersucker or old fashioned floral tie. Other perfectly placed details include assorted antique cake plates, old tins mixed with floral centerpieces, hand kerchiefs with dated embroidery of every size and color, and a variety of old and new photos placed around the reception entrance. To kick off the reception, Brandon joined the band and ROCKED OUT for an entire set on his guitar!
As favors, the couple offered seedlings for their guests to plant when they returned home.

This wedding was so personal, fun and unique, and was an honor to be involved in. Thanks, Zena and Brandon for choosing us! We wish your life together will be full of those small touches and intimate details to make your love as original as your day with us!

Davidson-Carnathan Wedding April 7, 2011/ Bonne Terre Weddings/ 30 A FL Wedding Planners / Santa Rosa Beach Wedding Planner

Jessica and Justin of Arkansas wanted a small, simple, elegant event on the beach at Bonne Terre in Seacrest Beach, Florida. Jessica Miller of Make Me Blush created the perfect up-do and flawless makeup, and Michelle Castle of Michelle Castle Photography was well-occupied in making every moment a memory.

Jessica was so happy to be marrying Justin that her whole face glowed as vows were exchanged, causing even the most experienced vendors to tear up. Throughout the night, the couple never stopped smiling and exchanging meaningful glances.

Chuck Lawson played the steel drums during the beach ceremony and then mixed it up for the reception, alternating between the steel drums and guitar, and playing DJ between sets. Kim of Kim's Cakes and Rich of Pascalli Foods wowed guests with savory cake and a heavenly buffet-style dinner. One guest told us this was "the best wedding food I've ever had!"

The weather was perfect, the event was seamless, and Jessica and Justin were amazing. They are one of the most gracious couples we've worked with, and we are ecstatic that we were able to be a part of their celebration.
